Famous Call Of Duty leakers GhostOfHope and RealityUK speculated about the appearance of Godzilla and Kong in Warzone a few months ago and the crossover was confirmed when the official Call of Duty Twitter account tweeted a monkey and lizard emoji.

The latest news was revealed in a new CoD x Godzilla vs Kong crossover teaser video, which shows an island that may be Caldera, Godzilla coming out from the water, and King Kong pulling a jet out of the air before crushing it.

The teaser then cuts to King Kong and Godzilla approaching each other, with the two about to attack.

Nazis have planted Nebula bombs globally, including on Caldera Island, according to the CoD x Godzilla vs Kong teaser shared on the official Call of Duty Twitter account. An ORCA detection exposes a monster's cry resonating on the frequency that the Nebula Bomb has awoken after they murder the Nazis and Team Harpy can be seen chasing them across a field, attempting to intercept the bomb.

The official video opens with a view of the ORCA radio machine and a jet flying overhead. As the plane proceeds to fly, Kong arrives and quickly crashes it into the earth after snatching it from the air. Soon after demolishing the jet, Godzilla emerges from the ocean after Kong's battle cry. Then they both approach each other to have a battle.

The only other noteworthy component of the cinematic trailer is Captain Price's overarching narrative. It has been stated that the "storm" is approaching, something "strong and terrifying" and unfathomable. However, there are no hints as to what the players should expect with Call of Duty: Warzone Operation Monarch gameplay.

Similar cinematic teasers have been used to promote the Godzilla vs. Kong film in the past.

Call of Duty Operation Monarch can be a one-time-only event as per the early indications. However, no official CoD Operation Monarch gameplay has been posted yet, but it is expected that the Operation Monarch event will feature a large-scale depiction of the two monsters in the pre-existing battle royale map.

If we are to guess, then it is possible that the monsters will have to be fought by the players with the help of highly improved weaponry which was previously disclosed by Call of Duty's official Twitter account.

It's unclear whether Operation Monarch will just be a limited-time mode or playlist, hence, players in Warzone will have to wait till additional details are released.
