Destiny 2 Void 3.0 aspects and fragments |
Destiny 2 has had a really successful career till now. This free-to-play online-only multiplayer (first-person shooter) title was developed by Bungie to provide gamers with the fun of a classic shooting game.
The latest and most major expansion for Destiny 2, Destiny 2: The Witch Queen, is nearly out. This will bring in a surge of new and untried video game content for players to play and experience. There’ll be a new Season Pass that’ll need to be completed, new exotics, etc.
But the surprising part is that Bungie has decided to resurrect an earlier damage type – Void.
Void, or Destiny 2 Void 3.0 as it is being called, will get the void subclasses in line with Stasis (the element that was introduced in the Beyond Light expansion) by making them more customizable.
Read on to find out what there is to know about Destiny 2 Void 3.0, and its aspects and fragments.

Destiny 2 Void 3.0: What is it?
Before getting into the definition of Void, it is good to know some other relevant non-Void elements.
- Arc means Electricity damage.
- Solar is Fire Damage.
- Stasis is Ice Damage
- Kinetic means Standard damage.
Moving on to the definition, Destiny 2 Void 3.0 can be understood as using the ability of a black hole to suck everything into it, even gravity. Void weakens the strength of enemies and also disintegrates them with reactive explosions at the same time.
Many Destiny 2 void attacks apply any one or more of these six buffs or debuffs. These have been provided by Bungie.
- Suppress: The target is taken out of any active ability when suppressed. While suppressed, the target cannot activate any abilities or movement modes. The targets are nonplussed.
- Weaken: This does basically what the word means. The target takes increased damage, has slowed movement, and is disoriented.
- Volatile: This buff ensures that upon taking any further damage, the target explodes. In the case that the target dies before the volatile has taken enough damage to detonate, the detonation happens anyway.
- Invisibility: Again, this has the same principle as Weaken. The player vanishes from sight and does not appear on the radar.
- Overshield: The player gains a protecting shield that immediately stacks on top of their existing health and shields and intercepts incoming damage. This way, Overshield reduces the damage taken from PvE (Player vs Environment) combatants.
- Devour: The player is immediately restored to full health upon activating devour from any source and is also granted grenade energy. When the player gets any kills in with the buff Devour active, they are restored to full health, granted grenade energy, plus their Devour buff timer is extended.
