The introduction of the new Genshin Impact region is one of the most important events of a new update, especially as the game progresses and there are fewer quests to enjoy. During the Genshin Impact 2.5 Livestream, HoYoverse officially revealed The Chasm region to the world, and after the official announcement and throughout the 2.6 beta, we received a slew of leaks revealing additional details about the new Genshin region.
Furthermore, the developer has begun distributing The Liyue Diaries today in order to highlight the environment and mechanisms in the new section, The Chasm - The surface, indicating that they will continue to do so in the future with the underground region as well.
According to 2.6 Leaks, Genshin Impact Chasm will include two maps: one for the overworld and another for the underground. In addition, the official titles of the Genshin Chasm areas - Underground mines and Overground areas have also been revealed.

Regarding the Chasm map, while showing a few concept arts, the basic description of the area was given and the official announcement stated,
"In our future update for Version 2.6, Travelers will be able to delve into The Chasm, so Travelers can expect a completely new area to explore in the version following 2.5."
Moreover, it has been stated that The Chasm is located to the west of Lisha, with complex terrain and many strange ecological and geological environments. The cliffs of The Chasm are towering while bottomless canyons and pits are distributed around the Underground Mines of The Chasm.

Genshin Impact Chasm - Cranes and Spoutrocks
Many cranes have been left by miners in The Chasm. There are also Spout rocks that can help you improve your jumping ability. Travelers can quickly reach high places using these mechanisms.
A unique physical property of a rock that allows it to store high-pressure air. When walking above them, be cautious because they could suddenly spew gout of pressurized air.
Genshin Impact Chasm - Bedrock Key
You must find a way to dispel the Liyue Qixing's magical array in order to enter The Chasm. Destroying the Bedrock Keys that encircle the place is the key to executing such a feat.
Genshin Impact Chasm - Cage-Shaped Geo Formations
Natural precipitates form around the Bedrock Keys, which are used to seal The Chasm. They will shoot crystal shots if they are attacked by outside forces powered by a Geogranum.

Genshin Impact Chasm - Unique Rock Pillars
According to legend, these scars are the remnants of an ancient war. They can generate a "resonant quake" with other comparable rock pillars and some Geo Constructs when impacted by explosions or blunt force trauma.
There are a few big rock pillars scattered about The Chasm as well. Travelers must pay close attention to their surroundings and employ resonances to solve riddles in a timely manner.

A weird, unusually shaped rock connected to the neighboring rock pillars. It appears to be able to pick up on some of the pillars' resonance. Maybe the quantity of symbols on the rock has something to do with how many resonances it gets in a short amount of time...

When a specific mechanism is pressed and triggered in The Chasm, these dimly lighting pyramids can still be seen. You might be able to find evidence of Treasure Chests if you move in the direction of their extension.
