Dragon Age 4 will be released in the second half of 2023

Dragon Age 4 development is reportedly on schedule, that’s according to industry insider Jeff Grubb. In the latest episode of his GiantBomb video series GrubbSnax, he said “That brings us to Dragon Age 4, which I’ve heard is in very good shape,”

“Overall, when they look at where they’re supposed to be at in its development cycle for Dragon Age 4, they are hitting their milestones and where they’re supposed to be, and the game is on schedule.”
However, it seems that we won't be getting our hands on the game this year as Jeff Grubb is claiming that the game will launch within 18 months, with the earliest possible date being late 2023. This is similar to his past statements, as he stated last summer that the game will not be released until 2022, with EA prioritising marketing this year.

Tom Henderson, another industry insider made a similar claim last month, claiming that there was no chance that Dragon Age 4 will be released this year, according to his sources.
Considering Grubb estimation to be correct then Dragon Age 4 will be released in the second half of 2023. Still, there is no concrete information on the release date from BioWare.
Dragon Age 4 is suspected to be Playstation 5 and Xbox series X/S console exclusive, according to Jeff Grubb sources and its listing in the LinkedIn profile of an ex-BioWare staff member.
Following years of speculations that a new chapter in the series was in the works, Dragon Age 4 was officially announced during The Game Awards 2018. We haven't heard much since the announcement on what to expect from our next trip to Thedas, or when it will be released. BioWare did, however, mention on its blog in late 2021 that it was "excited for next year when we can talk more about what we're working on."

BioWare has lately been providing minor teasers for the game, confirming that numerous familiar faces will return for the franchise's upcoming game.
That means we can surely expect more concrete information on Dragon Age 4 this year, such as the official name, release date and much more.
