Respawn Entertainment will soon be celebrating the game's third anniversary later this year and it is possible that the devs may have something spectacular planned for fans of the enormously popular first-person shooter.
Apex Legends Season 12 brought us a slew of new levels and skins, as well as the introduction of Apex Legends Maggie, the newest Legend to join the cast. At the very least, we anticipate something similar in Season 13.

Apex Legends Free For All game mode leak
Kralrindo, an Apex Legends leaker and dataminer, found a new mode called "FreeDM" in the game's files. As per the leaked data, it has been hinted that this new Apex Legends FreeDM mode implies the LTM might be a Free For All mode, however, the leak doesn't reveal much specifics.
Furthermore, Apex Legends Free For All game mode files reference "killing spree," "scoring event," and "point value," implying that the mode relies entirely on the number of kills obtained, which would make sense for FFA.
Regardless, "killing spree" and "colony wall run" are both Titanfall 2 features, so this may be ancient residual code. However, the mention of Season 12 in these files implies otherwise, thus it's conceivable that Respawn is working on a new game mode for a future event or season.

It wouldn't be surprising if the Apex developers were working on another LTM after the popularity of Control. A new Free For All mode in Apex Legends would even appease gamers who have been clamouring for a solo BR experience, something Respawn has stated they have no plans to provide.
In any case, take this leak with a grain of salt as these are only leaked files, but if indeed the new Apex Legends Free For All game mode is in the works for Season 13, then players have a lot to look forward to. We'll have to wait and see what happens.
