The exact details on Genshin Dainsleif abilities are pretty scarce at the moment, however, during the We Will Be Reunited Archon quest in 1.4 update, we were able to get a glimpse of Dainsleif's abilities. When he was restraining an Abyss Herald without physical contact, his hand was surrounded by a dark blue, galaxy-like aura.
So far, Dainsleif doesn’t appear to have a Vision, so it would be quite interesting to see from where does Dainsleif channels his magical abilities.

The future must atone for bygone mistakes, as the bond familiar falters and breaks— of the same blood, elders and the youth... Such is the cycle of the world, in truth. Genshin Dainsleif was first introduced in We Will Be Reunited Archon Quests (the fourth act in Chapter I in Version 1.4, released on April 12, 2021). There it was revealed that "Dainsleif is the Twilight Sword, one of the royal guards from Khaenri'ah, and he had failed to protect it, being laid upon a curse of immortality and forced to watch his people turn into monsters."
Moreover, it has been hinted that Genshin's Dainsleif is immortal as during his narration in Venti's Collected Miscellany and Venti: Skyward Sonnet, he said, "A thousand years have passed since the God of Anemo left this land. But to me, it has only been half that time."
Now the last time we got to see Dainsleif was in the Bough Keeper: Dainsleif (World Quest that serves as the prologue to Chapter I Act IV: We Will Be Reunited of the Archon Quests.)

As per the given description, "Khaenriah was a powerful nation, built purely by humans, an unprecedented flourishing and glorious civilization — it was the pride of humankind."
Not to have a god was something that never affected its people, and the denizen of Khaenri'ah, Dainsleif describes it as one of "the hidden corners where the gods' gaze does not fall," and says that its people "dream of dreaming," unlike the majority who are "content to live, and not to dream."
Now Khaenriah is the act of the game’s story, so it wouldn't be shocking if miHoYo releases Dainsleif as a playable during Genshin’s final chapter.

Now coming to the return of Dainsleif, the Genshin Community has been filled with excitement as Ubatcha in his recent tweet stated that 2.6 will bring back Dainsleif.
We have no info on the characters featuring on the Dainsleif banner, yet his appearance alone is enough as during the last appearance, he brought several rewards for the players to acquire, so it is expected that this NPC will once again have a lot to offer and will probably reveal more about the world as he seems to know Traveler’s sibling.
