FromSoftware's Elden Ring has been in development for almost four years, since the arrival of The Ringed City DLC for Dark Souls III. And now From Software's next game Elden Ring is, at last, coming out the following month, so the studio should be working diligently on its next game.
FromSoftware is known for its enigmatic nature in regards to progressing improvement, as they consistently drop teasers for their upcoming title, similar to how they uncover the lore of their SoulsBorne universes. It was revealed recently that Elden Ring would now be coming towards the end of February 2022.
Other than this, the studio has been known for creating several Souls-like games as when different studios were occupied with imitating the Dark Souls and had next to zero accomplishment in further developing it, FromSoftware did that without anyone else.
The games, Bloodborne and Sekiro - Shadows Die Twice were both highlighted a lot more on portability as compared to Souls titles, making them much exciting high-hazard/high-reward encounters.
Now presently, while many are anxiously expecting the arrival of FromSoftware's Elden Ring, a ton of players are still waiting to get some Bloodborne 2 or Dark Souls 4 news, yet it seems like the company has some other plans as it could be getting back to one of its older franchises.

Armored Core 6 reportedly under development via survey
Back in 2016, it was revealed that From Software had three games in development, with Sekiro and Elden Ring being the initial two. However, back then Hidetaka Miyazaki (head of the studio) announced that the studio was additionally working on a "reboot", which was highly suggestive of a new Armored Core game.
From Software's mech series Armored Core was released way before Demon's Souls in 1997, yet the game still hasn't received any new installment to it since 2013. After the release of the very first Armored Core, the developers released 13 other main games, with additional 7 spin-offs, and 3 remastered re-releases.
Currently Armored Core has 23 titles under its name, however, the last part of the series was released way back in 2013, and now it seems like players will soon get a new Armored Core, probably Armored Core 6.
Today, i.e. on Saturday 8 Jan, a Resetera user - Red Liquorice revealed that he'd got a consumer survey about a new Armoured Core game from the studio behind Elden Ring and Dark Souls, and this survey apparently uncovers a few major details about this unannounced mech combat game.
Liquorice stated that the Armoured Core 6 survey had "description, screenshots and two 30 second-ish videos of gameplay". Although he was worried about getting identified based on watermarks, yet he did reveal a few details about the description and gameplay stating, "the first a boss fight and the second more in-world gameplay, a snow area."

Armored Core 6 gameplay
With regards to the Armoured Core 6 gameplay, Liquorice revealed that "The boss fight looked quite Soulsy - the long-range gunfire reminded me of Virtua On, that’s my frame of reference, I’m not a mech fan and haven’t played any AC games. The player character in a white mech went in close to the bigger robot boss and fought with like an energy or laser sword, this looked Souls-style."
He further said, "The field gameplay, the player in the same white mech seemed to be following a couple of other players in the distance (co-op?) and they were walking (flying close to the ground may be) through a snowy area towards either a large wall or gate, this seemed Soulsy too, the vastness of the architecture, but it wasn’t a castle more like a worn down metal/stone wall or gate. It was quite short."

UPDATE: 10/01/22
After lots of contemplation, the user has finally shared the screenshot of the rumored Armored Core 6 game. He said, "I spent 15 minutes trying to obscure the watermark text without it being completely obnoxious, so here are the screengrabs:"

So far with all these leaks, it seems like players will be in a treat and will get a lot more to explore in the upcoming Armoured Core 6 game. However, it would be best to wait for the official confirmation from FromSoftware as nothing is certain until an official announcement is made. So don’t get your hopes up too high.
