Goldeneye 007 was a colossal change for videogames, which was the adaption of the beloved James Bond movie (1995) involving a first-person shooter for consoles and Nintendo 64. No Time To Die, the developer behind the game delivered a majorly successful game, however, it was a licensed game, and due to this, the absence of a Bond game since 007 Legends has been intensely felt.

After 2008 when the release of Xbox Live Arcade remaster of the Goldeneye 007 was canceled due to licensing issues between MGM (James Bond film studio), Nintendo, and Microsoft, we have a new rumor suggesting that Goldeneye 007 Xbox remaster could possibly be coming soon.
TrueAchievements is a site dedicated to tracking and syncing achievements of different titles found a complete list of GoldenEye 007 achievements worth 1,000 gamerscore. This GoldenEye 007 achievement leak was brought into notice by a Resetera user Outlaw Torn, which claims a re-appearance of Goldeneye 007, and all these game artwork are suggestive of the N64 GoldenEye 007 title.
There are almost 50 Goldeneye 007 achievements that have appeared on the list which has been achieved by two players so far: ‘BigSheep’ and ‘Xtinamcgrath’. Moreover, the Gamertags appear to belong to Rare’s lead engineer James Thomas and community head Christina McGrath.

This new leak can be taken as a hint that MGM, Microsoft, and Nintendo have come to an agreement and players will possibly get a re-release of Goldeneye 007 soon.
There are several other partnerships that the companies have done so far with various games like Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, Minecraft, and others so it is possible that Goldeneye 007 remaster will come on Xbox One and Nintendo Switch Online.
