Battlefield 2042's 3rd update has been released today, on Dec 2 which almost has 300 fixes, having the quality of life enhancements along with balance changes. Earlier the devs stared that the new update will fix spawning, visual glitching, and collision issues to bring smoother gameplay.
After the update, players will get weekly missions that they can finish to acquire XP and exceptional cosmetic rewards, however, prior to the official reveal of these rewards a few players have gotten a brief look at the Battlefield 2042 mission rewards.
The players will surely want to complete these weekly missions as these rewards include new Battlefield 2042 Christmas-themed skins.

Battlefield 2042 Christmas-themed skins
It seems like Battlefield 2042 is all set to celebrate the holiday season with new skins that are themed around Santa Claus. The leaked Battlefield 2042 Santa Claus skins seemingly leaked early, however, they have been removed from various platforms, yet people on social media were able to capture the images and share them.
The new skins leak has come from a known account for reporting Battlefield news. Battlefield Bulletin shared a new post on their Twitter handle, revealing a portion of the mission rewards that are Christmas-themed.
As per the leaked info, the Battlefield 2042 Santa Claus skins are:
- "Big Nic" tank skin
- "Little Blitzen" helicopter skin
- "Father Winter" skin

The Battlefield 2042 Big Nic tank skin has a reindeer on it, whereas the Father Winter skin lets you become Santa with a machine gun. It has been claimed that these items will be unlocked as mission rewards all through different weeks of Battlefield 2042's preseason, which has just started.
Players can clearly spot that the festive tank skin will be unlocked during preseason week 2, whereas the Battlefield 2042 Santa skin and Little Blitzen helicopter skin will be unlocked during week 3.
Battlefield 2042 became available to the players on November 19, however, prior to that, the devs affirmed that players will have to wait till 2022 for the launch of Battlefield 2042 Season 1. Before then, DICE was planning to offer limited-time modes along with weekly missions and rewards.
