Recently, Pokemon announced the details about Pokemon Go Community Day November 2021, along with giving the Halloween Mischief event, and now Niantic are getting ready to bring in the festivity of lights with their next huge Pokemon Go event: The Festival of Lights! 

Trainers will get to enjoy the firecrackers all over the map during the initial period of the Festival of Lights event, and will actually get to see the debut of Pokemon Dedenne, free avatar items, new Raid Bosses, and event bonuses.

Pokemon Go Festival of Lights start date and time 

The Pokemon Go Festival of Lights event will start on Friday, 5th of November 2021, at 10AM and will end on Sunday, 14th of November 2021, at 8PM local time. 

Pokemon Go Festival of Lights rewards 

Trainers will be able to get their hands on the below-mentioned rewards during the Festival of Lights: 

  • Gifts will give incremented prizes. 
  • Friendship levels will build twice as quick. 
  • Trainers will have the option to open up 45 Gifts each day.

Pokemon Go Dedenne debuts during Festival of Lights

Trainers will be able to catch the Kalos region double Electric/Fairy-type mouse Dedenne, also called the Antenna Pokemon. The devs have chosen the Festival of Lights events to mark the debut of the Dedenne Pokemon.

The Dedenne Pokemon will be available to catch in a couple of various ways: 

  • an encounter in the wild
  • a prize for finishing Field Research tasks
  • a 1-Star Raid Boss

Pokemon Go 'With Light Comes Shadow' event 

Niantic has also teased that Team Go Rocket will create problems from Tuesday, 9th of November 2021, with their Shadow Pokemon, and during this time, characters from Team Go Rocket will show up more often at ballons and PokeStops. Trainers will also have the option to utilize a Charged TM to help a Shadow Pokemon forget Frustration.
