Leakers and their leaks have commonplace inside gaming and even though Nintendo has made a great effort with controlling a portion of these leaks, yet, these Animal Crossing leaks do come out once in a while.
This is the situation with regards to the eventual fate of New Horizons, as an eminent leaker, Animal Crossing YouTuber Mayor Mori expressed that in the next significant Animal Crossing update, players will also get to see their favorite Animal Crossing Lottie.
It was initially found in the in-game code that demonstrates the arrival of Lottie. An update recently changed her in-game parameters, giving players a new hope that Lottie will be joining the villagers' list in Animal Crossing New Horizons.
Additionally, the music during the player's conversations with Lottie was also updated which is similar to what happened with Sanrio villagers before their addition to the game which also hints at Lottie being added to the game.
In Animal Crossing: Happy Home Designer, Lottie was the receptionist at Nook's Homes and she additionally trained the players and informed them about the process of setting up a villager's home. She showed up at the area and allowed the player to pick the location and format.
If the leak about Lottie coming in Animal Crossing: New Horizons is indeed true, then players will probably see a slight gameplay change, since the game has been out for longer than a year and her addition would be an immense factor.
However, like every other leak thus far, these should be thought of while taking other factors into consideration until Nintendo officially reveals any data about it.
