League of Legends Worlds 2021 will have VCS with GAM Esports and Saigon Buffalo Esports being their endorsers, as per the recent report.

Earlier when Worlds 2020 and MSI 2021 were conducted, VCS missed both of these significant events of League of Legends. Recently, it was supposed and later affirmed by Riot that the VCS would not be present at Worlds 2021.
However, recently, it has been reported that there are chances that players will get to see VCS at Worlds 2021.
A report has risen up out of a Vietnamese columnist, Dat Nguyen (@ThanhDat712) from thethao.vn, that GAM Esports and Riot are teaming up to bring VCS to League of Legends Worlds 2021. This comes as a shock considering the declaration Riot made a couple of days ago.

There is a chain of tweets to follow as a ton of data has been shared to unload. The two files posted on Twitter affirm that Riot is inviting VCS at Worlds 2021.
The primary file is an invitation for the players to come and join League of Legends Worlds 2021, which is signed by both Christopher Tran, the Head of Riot Esports Southeast Asia, and John Needham, Head of Riot Esports.
The subsequent document is to embrace costs for the teams under Riot Games, which is again signed by Christopher Tran. However, there is still some support and affirmation missing for John Needham before that goes ahead.

Moreover, the mentioned document outlines the expenses that Riot will cover for the two LoL VCS teams in attendance:
- Accommodation costs
- Any costs relating to quarantine
- Food expenses
- Health insurance
- Legal fees such as visa applications
- Logistical costs such as luggage fees, travel insurance, etc.
- Travel to and from Iceland
From these records, it is clear Riot wishes VCS to be at Worlds 2021. Yet there are slim chances, given how things have gotten down to business and Riot has already made the declaration for Worlds 2021. So if the found document actually hints at the incorporation of VCS, then Riot should settle on a choice exceptionally soon to possibly go ahead with the plan of including VCS back to Worlds 2021.
If it somehow managed to happen, then players would get to return to the arrangement of League of Legends Worlds 2019 of having two teams. And if VCS is coming to Worlds 2021, then Rouge would definitely return to the play-ins with GAM Esports taking their spot. Moreover, the play-ins system should be changed, if Riot wants to add Saigon Buffalo there.

The main issues with VCS being at Worlds 2021 are the endorsement and the unexpected changes in schedule and format. Likewise, Iceland should approve the visas, and GAM Esports is allegedly attempting to streamline that.
However, the Vietnamese government could be a detour for the VCS team when returning. With the chances low, there is still some hope that VCS will come to Worlds 2021, and fans can only wait and wish that they do.
