Nintendo Direct is rumored to take place in September 2021, and the rumors have created another wave of excitement among the fans.
Nintendo Direct 2021 |
Nintendo has always organized a Nintendo Direct in the month of September since 2016, and Nintendo has many different games that are set to release in September and October to add to the Direct as it has been around 90 days since the most recent Super Smash Bros. Ultimate Fighter DLC was declared.
The last Nintendo Direct took place on 15th of June 2021, at E3 2021, and then recently, on the 18th of August 2021, a Pokemon Presents Direct was conducted, however, fans have been waiting for almost three months to get an appropriate Nintendo Direct.
The wait has given heed to numerous speculations and theories, yet, it bodes well, as a ton of little things propose that there will be a Nintendo Direct 2021 event coming this month that is September.

Currently, industry insider 'SamusHunter' has spoken about the changes in the schedule of a Direct, proposing the Nintendo Direct 2021 very well may take place later in the month or more.
As per SamusHunter, "Nintendo is banking heavily on September, partly for commercial reasons such as closing out the quarter."
In her recent post on Twitter, she said, "Third-party titles had several announcements planned for this month, as well as release dates, I had already listed several of them at the beginning of the month."

+Titles like Triangle Strategy have several announcements planned
+Giving a final marketing push to Dread and OLED
Furthermore, SamusHunter highlighted Metroid Dread and the last marketing push for the Nintendo Switch OLED as pieces of information that a September Direct is occurring. Nonetheless, she proceeded to call attention to the fact that they expect Pokémon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl and Legends news consistently.
Aspects that will be discussed within the next few months:

*Mario Party side modes like the singleplayer one and the remaining boards. With an overview trailer towards the end of the month / October
*Pokémon BDSP and Legends news on a montlhy basis
Maybe the greatest sign for an October Direct is that they express Smash's last DLC fighter could be showing up in October, Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity DLC in November and Animal Crossing has content, too.
So in closing, with the current situation there are several possible scenarios. I'll try to look into this further and maybe be able to get more up to date information based on information from Nintendo sources.

A recent post has taken Twitter by storm, making Nintendo Direct trend on Twitter. Yet, sadly, no concrete information has come out to support the ongoing rumors other than the historical backdrop of September Directs.
Last month, certain information was revealed by a Nintendo leaker, SamusHunter2, that talked about another Nintendo Direct 2021 with date, content, and more info, and presently more data has been found that supports the past rumors.
Past weeks i read articles for many games that have ratings approved like some Star Wars titles, Crysis 2 and 3, Disco Elysium, all titles that are likely going to be released next month, alongside other missing dates confirmations like Dying Light#NintendoSwitch #NintendoDirect

Back in August 2021, there were rumors making rounds suggesting that a Nintendo Direct 2021 would occur in September and the rumors were possibly dependent on a similar data as above, however, this time it goes somewhat further.
It was initially mentioned that a Nintendo Direct 2021 would take place somewhere around the WarioWare release i.e. 10th of September, and it was likewise stated that September Nintendo Direct 2021 would probably center around Metroid Dread, Mario Party Superstars, and Advance Wars.
After teasing this in a couple of posts, I'm going to talk about it more clearly, yes, there is a #NintendoDirect scheduled for September, around the time WarioWare launches. It is useless to make a list of games passing them off as certain, because...#NintendoLeaks pic.twitter.com/ss3csUWgjc

However, a September 4 date is being proposed by some, claiming that the last Super Smash Bros. Ultimate Fighter announcement will be part of the September Nintendo Direct 2021 event while others are asserting that 9 September or 10 September is a much reasonable date.
This tweet never existed, nice fake one. I got a tracker for every tweet they post, even if they delete it :)

All things considered, this is an ideal opportunity for Nintendo to announce Nintendo Direct 2021, keeping the past patterns in mind, however, Zippo, another prominent leaker has taken a stand in opposition to the ongoing rumors and has made every one of the alerts go off.
Zippo, is the same leaker who revealed accurate data earlier and now he claims that an alleged new Nintendo Direct 2021 is approaching nearer.
Earlier, the leaker claimed that Nintendo is preparing for another General Direct in the month of September, which would reveal data about the mid-2022 games along with the declaration about Mario Party Superstars, Metroid Dread, the Smash Bros. Extreme's last character, and Advance Wars 1 + 2.

Back then he said that the Nintendo Direct 2021 event could take place in the last week of August, however, now he has updated his Nintendo Direct post expressing that he has heard again that the new Nintendo Direct is "imminent", and the event would take place on Wednesday or Thursday.
That being said, there are chances that none of this is true and as Nintendo has not announced any details about the upcoming Nintendo Direct 2021, hence fans should take every information with a solid grain of salt.
In any case, Nintendo fans have a great deal to anticipate throughout the year as many first-and third-party games like Darksiders 3, Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot, Metroid Dread, Ni No Kuni 2, Mario Party Superstars, and considerably more.
