The Choose Bidoof Cup is only available on Bidoof Day, so the tournament will begin on Thursday, 1st of July 2021 from 10:00 AM till 8 PM. You don’t have to worry about the time zone here.
Best Moveset for Choose Bidoof Cup in Pokemon Go
- Fast Movement - Knockdown
- Charged Movement - Super Power and Crunch
Although the Bidoof Breakout event allowed players to catch the Bidoof Pokemon familiar with Ice Beam, Shadow Ball, or Thunderbolt, however, they are of no use in the Choose Bidoof Cup as a much better option that is, the Charged move is available this time.
The trainer can capture the wild Bidouf on the 1st of July 2021 who knows the Superpower which is a Fighting-type charged move and is also one of the Bidoof weaknesses. If your team undergoes such changes, you have a great chance of success.
Neither option is particularly good for fast moves, but Take Down is the best shot because it has a higher energy gain that allows you to build a destructive Charged Move Superpower that can fire in a single shot at enemy Bidoof.

However, in case you don't possess a Bidoof Pokemon having Superpower, it will be a wise decision to choose Tackle down as his fast move because it will cause more damage.

Although the Choose Bidoof Cup is a Pokemon event where everyone bets the same Pokemon that is the Bidoof Pokemon, yet there are steps you can take to stay one step ahead of others.
It will help you in winning the Choose Bidoof Cup if you keep all Bidoof as close as possible to the 500 CP limit, and it is also important to pay attention to statistics. For example, high HP Bidoof can generally last longer as compared to Bidoof with a higher attack. And as already mentioned, Superpower is the key to success in this cup, so Moveset also plays a vital role in this Choose Bidoof Cup.
Pokemon Go Bidoof Cup Rules and Restrictions
Certain rules and restrictions have been imposed which are to be followed before entering the Choose Bidoof Cup selection:
- Your team will only have Bidoof Pokemon.
- The CP of each Bidoof in the Cup should be 500CP at max.
These restrictions also mean that Bidoof evolution form, Bibarel cannot appear in this Cup. And since your team only has Bidoof, it is even more important to choose the moves wisely and get close to the limit of 500 CP.
